The Hyundai 485LVS excavator is equipped with a Cummins QSM11 series engine with a power output of 266kW (357 horsepower). It has abundant power reserves in the 48-ton class of excavators and delivers strong torque at low speeds. It adopts electro-hydraulic high-pressure common rail technology, ensuring efficient fuel combustion. Combined with the VPC variable power control system, it can automatically adjust power according to the load, providing timely power response in heavy-duty working conditions such as mines and large-scale earthwork. It performs stably in climbing and heavy-load excavation scenarios
1. Work efficiency advantage
The bucket digging force is approximately 228-259 kN, and the boom digging force is approximately 182-239 kN. Combined with a standard bucket (heavy-duty rock bucket) of 2.05-2.20 m³, the single bucket can handle a large amount of excavation. The hydraulic system adopts a dual pump dual circuit design, with the main pump having sufficient flow (2×370 L/min), and the coordination of compound actions is good, and the operation cycle time is reasonable. The standard variable flow crushing pipeline is equipped, and during crushing operations, the two pumps are combined to supply oil, resulting in an increase in crushing force and speed, making it suitable for continuous high-intensity operations.
2. Structural Reliability Advantage
The key structural components (such as the boom, bucket arm, and frame) are made of high-strength steel. The boom and bucket arm are both made of cast steel and reinforced with additional ribs, resulting in a 1.5-fold increase in service life compared to ordinary models. The thickness of the lower support ring has been increased, and the welding strength of the frame has been enhanced by 20%. A standard heavy-duty rock bucket is equipped, with the bottom edge featuring a FISH TAIL welding shape, which effectively disperses stress and increases the durability and service life by more than twice. The key hydraulic components are sourced from international brands, ensuring overall reliability to meet the requirements of heavy-duty operations.
3. Maintain convenience advantage
Daily maintenance points (such as oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, etc.) are centrally arranged, making inspection and replacement relatively convenient. The engine compartment is relatively spacious, and some maintenance points have better accessibility. The modern after-sales service network covers a relatively wide area, and the supply of spare parts is relatively sufficient. The fuel tank adopts a plate + support structure, and the fatigue life of the welding parts has increased by 3.6 times. The fuel injection port size has been enlarged to enhance the convenience of refueling.
4. Economic Advantage
Compared to imported brands of the same tonnage, the purchase cost is relatively lower. By adopting the VPC variable power control system, fuel consumption is reduced by approximately 8% in all working modes, and the operating cost is relatively controllable. The preservation rate in the second-hand market is relatively stable, and the long-term usage cost is competitive among similar products.
