The CAT246D sliding loader is a medium-sized sliding and steering loader produced by Caterpillar. The total working weight of the machine is approximately 3368kg, the rated working capacity is 975kg, it is equipped with a Cat C3.3B turbocharged engine with a rated power of 53.6kW, and adopts a radial lifting design, which performs exceptionally well in narrow space operations.
1. Power System
Equipped with a Cat C3.3B turbocharged engine, with a rated power of 53.6kW and a maximum torque of 265N·m, it complies with Tier 2/Stage II emission standards. The engine is perfectly matched with the high-performance power transmission system, achieving optimal performance output through the electronic torque management system.
2. Operating Performance
The radial lifting design is adopted, with a maximum lifting height of 3154mm, a maximum unloading distance of 600mm, a tipping load of 1950kg, and an excavation force of 3336kg. A standard flow hydraulic system is equipped, with a hydraulic flow of 86L/min and a working pressure of 23000kPa. An optional high-flow XPS system is also available, with a maximum flow of 121L/min.
3. Flexible and Maneuverable
The wheelbase is 1249mm, the vehicle width is 1676mm, the ground clearance is 226mm. It can achieve 360° steering on the spot, has a small turning radius, and is particularly suitable for operations in narrow spaces. The single-speed driving speed is 12.5 km/h, and the dual-speed option can reach 17.7 km/h.
4. Comfortable operation
Equipped with ROPS/FOPS cab, in compliance with ISO safety standards. An optional sealed pressurized cab is available, providing a clean and quiet working environment. The seat-mounted adjustable control handle system offers a more comfortable and convenient operation.
5. Convenient Maintenance
The lubrication points are centrally arranged, and the diesel filter and air filter are designed on the same side. This facilitates daily maintenance. The hydraulic system employs load sensing technology, which can automatically adjust the flow according to the working conditions, reducing overflow losses and improving fuel efficiency.
6. Multi-functionality
It can quickly replace various working devices to achieve multiple operation functions such as loading and unloading, transportation, crushing, and cleaning. It is widely used in construction sites, municipal projects, agricultural operations and other scenarios.
