The SHANTUI SD16 bulldozer is a 16-ton medium-sized crawler-type bulldozer produced by SHANTUI Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. The total working weight of the machine is 17,000 kg. It is equipped with a WP10 electronically controlled engine with a rated power of 131 kW at 1850 rpm. The bucket capacity is 4.5 m³. It is the main model in SHANTUI bulldozer series.
1.Strong Power Core
Equipped with the WP10 electronically controlled engine, it meets the national non-road machinery emission standards of Stage III. It has strong power, is energy-efficient, and has low maintenance costs. The torque reserve coefficient is large, with the rated power reaching 131kW. It adopts a radial sealed intake system, effectively extending the engine's service life.
2. Efficient Transmission System
The transmission system is perfectly matched with the engine curve, with a wider efficient range and higher transmission efficiency. The transmission system independently developed by Sanpushi has been well tested in the market, featuring stable performance and reliable quality.
3. Powerful digging capability
The bucket capacity is 4.5 cubic meters, the maximum digging force is 180 kN, the maximum cutting depth is 540 mm, and the maximum lifting height is 1005 mm. It is equipped with various working devices such as straight bucket, U-shaped bucket, angle bucket, coal pushing bucket, rock bucket, and sanitation bucket, and has strong adaptability for operations.
4. Stable walking performance
The length of the crawler's contact surface is 2430mm, the width of the crawler plate is 510mm, the ground pressure is 58 kPa, the vehicle moves smoothly and has good maneuverability. The forward speed is five gears: 2.67/3.76/5.41/7.62/11.13 km/h, and the backward speed is four gears: 3.48/4.90/7.05/9.92 km/h.
5. Robust and durable structure
The front and rear frames adopt a plate structure. The overall center of gravity is well distributed, with a long wheelbase design and increased counterweight, resulting in excellent stability during operation. The large arm, small arm, and walking motor brackets are all reinforced with thick metal plates, meeting the requirements of harsh working conditions such as quarries and construction sites.
6. Cooling System
The use of aluminum plate-fin type heat sinks, combined with a central cooler, results in a compact structure and a reasonable layout, with high heat dissipation efficiency. This ensures the stable operation of the machine under high-load conditions.
