The CAT D7G bulldozer is a classic medium-sized crawler bulldozer produced by Caterpillar. The total working weight of the machine is 20.58 tons. It is equipped with the Cat 3306C DTTA engine, with a rated power of 150 kW. The dozer blade capacity is 4.2 m³, and the fuel tank capacity is 415 L. The transmission system supports 3 forward gears and 3 reverse gears, with a maximum driving speed of 9.9 km/h.
1.Strong Power Core
Equipped with the Cat 3306C DTTA diesel engine, which adopts turbocharging technology. The flywheel power is 150kW (202hp), and the maximum flywheel power can reach 164kW (220hp). The engine displacement is 10.5L, with a cylinder diameter of 121mm and a stroke of 152mm. It provides abundant power output and can handle various complex working conditions.
2. Efficient Transmission System
This system adopts a single-stage torque converter design. 70% of the power is transmitted through the hydraulic system, while 30% is transmitted through the mechanical system. This unique arrangement not only enhances the efficiency of the transmission system but also significantly increases the torque. The torque converter provides effective protection for the transmission system, shielding it from sudden torque impacts and vibrations. In heavy-load conditions, it can achieve torque increase through the torque converter, while in light-load conditions, it can fully utilize the efficiency of direct transmission.
3. Three-speed planetary power-shift transmission
It is equipped with 3 forward gears and 3 reverse gears, enabling rapid shifting and steering. The Cat 3306 diesel engine with its fast response performance is combined with a uniquely designed torque converter and power-shift transmission, forming a powerful transmission system.
4. Robust and durable structure
The structural components of the entire machine have undergone finite element optimization design. After 200,000 fatigue strengthening tests, it has strong load-bearing capacity, high strength, and good stability. The front and rear frames adopt plate structure, and the overall center of gravity distribution is reasonable. The long wheelbase design increases the counterweight, resulting in good stability during operation.
5. Strong operational capabilities
The ground contact length of the tracks is 2720mm, the width of the track plate is 560mm, the contact area is 4708 square inches, and the ground pressure is 10.59 psi. Equipped with a semi-U-shaped shovel, the shovel capacity is 4.2 cubic meters, the maximum lifting force is 180 kN, and it can easily complete earth excavation, backfilling, and leveling operations.
6. Hydraulic System
The system adopts a load-sensing hydraulic design, which can automatically adjust according to the operating environment and only provides the hydraulic flow required by the machinery. The maximum flow rate of the hydraulic system is 305L/min, with a working pressure ranging from 33.3 to 36.3 MPa. It is equipped with a new type of hydraulic valve, which facilitates maintenance and improves the weight distribution of the machine.
