The CAT D8R bulldozer is a medium-sized crawler bulldozer produced by Caterpillar. The total working weight of the machine is approximately 37.7 tons, the flywheel power is 228 kW, and it is equipped with a Cat 3406C engine with a displacement of 14.6 liters. It is a key equipment used in mining operations and large-scale infrastructure projects.
1.Strong Power Core
Equipped with the Cat 3406C DITA engine, with a rated power of 226kW at 2100rpm and a maximum power of up to 252kW. The engine adopts turbocharging and air-to-air cooling technology, with a cylinder diameter of 137mm and a stroke of 165mm, an engine displacement of 14.6L, providing sufficient power reserve to handle earthmoving operations on hard materials.
2. Efficient Transmission System
Equipped with a 3-speed forward gear and 3-speed reverse gear transmission, the forward speed ranges from 0 to 10.8 km/h, and the reverse speed ranges from 0 to 14.2 km/h. It adopts a planetary power shift transmission and an efficient torque distributor, which can transfer greater power to the ground, ensuring efficient operation in various complex working conditions.
3. Load-sensing Hydraulic System
This system employs a load-sensing hydraulic device that can automatically adjust according to the operating environment, providing only the hydraulic flow required by the machinery. The hydraulic system is equipped with a dedicated machinery pump, with the lifting cylinder having a flow rate of 325L/min and the tilting cylinder having a flow rate of 170L/min. The system pressure is 24100kPa, ensuring sufficient hydraulic power.
4. Differential Steering System
During the steering process, the differential steering device can retain the power generated by both tracks, giving the production rate a leading edge. When one track accelerates, the other track will decelerate at the same rate, offering the most precise adjustment function in the industry.
5. Robust and durable structure
The front and rear frames adopt a plate structure. The overall center of gravity is well distributed, with a long wheelbase design and increased weight distribution, resulting in excellent stability during operation. The large arm, small arm, and walking motor brackets are all reinforced with thick metal plates, meeting the requirements of harsh working conditions such as quarries and construction sites.
6. Strong operational capabilities
The ground contact length of the tracks is 3206mm, the width of the track plates is 610mm, the contact area is 3.91m², and the ground pressure is 95.1kPa. It is equipped with a semi-general-purpose shovel blade, with a capacity of 10.3m³ and a maximum lifting force of 180kN. It can easily complete tasks such as earth excavation, backfilling, and leveling.
