The Volvo EC360 excavator, as a 36-ton heavy-duty crawler-type excavator, excels in terms of power performance, fuel economy and operational comfort. It is specifically designed for large-scale earthwork projects and mining operations.
1.Strong power and efficient operation
Equipped with Volvo D8M engine, with rated power of 220kW, maximum power speed of 1600rpm, bucket digging force of 177-192kN, and small arm digging force of 177-192kN. The new generation of electronic control hydraulic system provides flow as needed, combined with low-speed high-torque engine, fuel efficiency is approximately 10% higher than the previous generation. The engine's automatic idle and shutdown functions further reduce fuel consumption. The operation modes include I (idle), F (fine), G (normal), H (heavy) and P (power), with five options available.
2. Intelligent Control and Precise Operations
Equipped with Volvo's auxiliary excavation system, it provides intelligent applications such as 2D, 3D, on-site design, and on-board weighing through a 10-inch display. Volvo's active control function enables the automation of the boom and bucket movements, making the excavation process more accurate and doubling the speed. Just set the slope on the display and press the button to start working. All operations are controlled using a single handle.
3. Comfortable and Safe
Equipped with a ROPS-certified cab, it is equipped with industrial standards that exceed those of machines in the same category. It has low noise and minimal vibration. The cab offers a wide field of vision and is available with a Volvo panoramic camera system. It provides real-time overhead views through front, rear, and side cameras to ensure safer rotation of the machine when operating in confined areas. The right-side three-point contact vehicle entry function is safe and reliable. The bolted anti-slip plates, prominent guardrails, and handrails ensure safety during maintenance.
4. Convenient Maintenance
The maintenance period is long. The interval for hydraulic oil replacement is 5,000 hours, and the interval for hydraulic oil filter replacement is 2,500 hours. The lubrication points are centrally designed, making daily maintenance simple and significantly extending the normal operating time. The engine delay shutdown function enables the turbocharger to operate for a longer period in a good condition, avoiding overheating.
