The Volvo EC480 is a 48-ton heavy-duty excavator. It is equipped with the original D13 engine and is mainly used for mining quarrying, large-scale earthwork, and stone loading operations under high-intensity conditions. It features strong power, low fuel consumption, and a durable and stable overall structure.
1.Strong power, excellent fuel economy
The D13 high-torque engine is equipped with electronic control hydraulic system and ECO energy-saving mode. Compared with the previous model, the fuel consumption has decreased by 8% to 11%. The five-speed power adjustment is available, and it has sufficient power for heavy-duty excavation and loading, without any speed drop.
2. Reinforced and sturdy structure, suitable for mining environments
The boom and arm are made of thick high-strength steel plates, with an X-shaped reinforced chassis. It has strong digging and traction capabilities, and is equipped with a standard protective base plate. It can handle crushed stones and long-term crushing without cracking or deforming.
3. Maintenance is simple and downtime is minimal
The maintenance of filter elements and lubrication points is concentrated on the ground. The hydraulic oil should be replaced after a maximum of 6,000 hours; the failure rate of the original factory hydraulic assemblies is low, and maintenance is both time-saving and cost-effective.
4. Safe and comfortable, with high resale value
The ROPS/FOPS anti-crash cab provides shock absorption for the seats and offers a wide field of vision; the imported large-tonnage second-hand model has a high residual value, resulting in lower long-term depreciation and wear.
