The Volvo EC300 is a 30-ton class medium-large-sized crawler excavator. The total weight of the machine ranges from 29.7 to 38.8 tons. It is equipped with the original factory D8M Euro IV engine, with a rated power of 189 kW. It is mainly characterized by heavy load capacity, low fuel consumption, robust structure, and low long-term failure rate. It is suitable for mining rock crushing, large-scale earthwork, infrastructure loading, river dredging, and heavy-duty crushing conditions. It is the benchmark model for heavy-duty durability among 30-ton imported machines.
1.Power hydraulic: High load and strong output, with significantly lower fuel consumption
D8M six-cylinder factory engine: Can unleash an astonishing 1290N·m of torque at 1400 rpm. Low RPM delivers high torque, enabling heavy-load climbing and digging hard rocks without losing speed; the rated speed is lowered to 1600 rpm, resulting in less wear, lower noise and longer lifespan.
2. Structural reinforcement, heavy-duty and durable against deformation in mines
Thickened high-strength welded structural components: Thickened wear-resistant steel plates for the boom and arm; Key weld seams are strengthened without damage; The HD mining heavy-duty version is specially designed for crushing and crushing conditions, with a much lower failure rate of cracking and deformation compared to ordinary models. Widened reinforced X-shaped chassis: Thicker walking frame, sealed lubrication for the crawler assembly; Traction force up to 248kN, 35° large climbing angle, strong performance in passing through muddy and crushed rocky slopes; Wear-resistant parts of the supporting wheels and idler wheels are thickened, extending the lifespan of the mine.
3. Long maintenance cycle, less downtime and lower maintenance cost
Extremely long maintenance interval: Hydraulic oil is replaced every 6,000 hours at the longest. The maintenance intervals for engine oil and engine filter are extended, which is half the frequency compared to many other models, resulting in more working time gains. Maintenance points are centrally arranged, and all tasks such as adding engine oil, filter elements, and lubrication can be completed on the ground. A three-point safety climbing platform is provided, allowing for quick maintenance by a single person without the need for high-altitude work.
4. The driver's cabin is safe and comfortable, reducing fatigue during long-term operations.
The suspended shock-absorbing air seats, overall noise reduction and sound insulation of the machine, and excellent noise control inside the cabin; ergonomic electronic control handles, with light operating force, making it less likely for the wrists to be strained during continuous crushing and excavation throughout the day; a constant temperature high-power air conditioner that maintains stability throughout the four seasons. The large-screen color intelligent instrument panel provides real-time visualization of oil pressure, load, fuel consumption, and water temperature, and allows for one-click self-check of fault codes, making it easy and straightforward to operate.
