A 30-ton heavy-duty crawler excavator with an extended track, the total vehicle weight is approximately 30.1 tons. It is equipped with a 1.54m³ heavy-duty bucket and is powered by a Caterpillar self-developed C7.1 ACERT electronically controlled engine. It is mainly used for stone excavation, quarrying, heavy-load earthwork, and infrastructure crushing, etc., and is the top-performing heavy-duty model in the second-hand market with the highest preservation rate.
1. C7.1 Original engine reliability is at its peak
Rated power: 156kW, Maximum torque: 900N·m. Verified through extensive field tests worldwide, it has a high tolerance for poor-quality diesel and is unlikely to cause wear on the fuel injectors and cylinder block due to poor oil quality. It can operate at full power at an altitude of 3000 meters, and is suitable for the highest temperature environment of 52℃. In summer, during long periods of high-load operations in quarries, it is unlikely to trigger high-temperature alarms.
2. Intelligent oil control, significant fuel consumption optimization
The engine and the main pump speed are synchronized, and it comes with an economy/heavy-duty dual power mode. Compared to the previous model, the overall fuel consumption has been reduced by approximately 11%. The variable-speed silicone oil fan adjusts speed as needed, reducing unnecessary energy consumption. The electric oil injection pump expels air quickly, ensuring smooth starting in cold weather.
3. High durability, long major repair cycle
The original factory reinforced cylinder block and pre-filter protection for the air filter belt ensure adequate protection against gravel and dust in construction sites. Under normal maintenance, the engine has an extremely low failure rate after several dozen hours of operation, and the power loss of second-hand vehicles is slow.
4. Energy recovery of the boom and stick, with faster and more fuel-efficient circulation
Equipped with a regenerative oil circuit for the boom and stick, hydraulic energy is recovered when lowering the boom and retracting the stick, reducing the operation cycle time and enhancing productivity while lowering fuel consumption; the end of the cylinder is equipped with a buffer and shock absorber, resulting in less impact and a longer service life of the cylinder seal.
