The CAT325D excavator is flexible to operate, highly efficient, fuel-efficient, and easy to maintain and service. 1. Strong power and fuel economy
The CAT325D is equipped with the Caterpillar C7 ACERT engine, with a rated power of 140kW (188 horsepower). It adopts ACERT technology to optimize the combustion process, enhancing engine performance while reducing emissions. This engine features better fuel economy and lower wear. Through the "Economy Mode and Power Control" system, users can strike the best balance between performance and fuel economy. In lighter operations such as municipal construction, switching to the economy mode can reduce fuel consumption by 15%.
2. High-efficiency hydraulic system
The hydraulic system adopts a design where the pilot pump is independent of the main pump to control the front connecting rod, rotation and traveling operations. The hydraulic interactive sensing system can utilize each of the two hydraulic pumps under all working conditions to exert 100% of the engine power, achieving faster operating speeds and more rapid and powerful reversals. The boom and bucket rod regeneration loop can save energy, improve efficiency, reduce cycle time and pressure loss during the boom descent and bucket rod inward retraction operations, and achieve higher productivity and lower operating costs.
3. Reinforced structure and durable reliability
The working device has been comprehensively strengthened and made of high-strength steel, featuring excellent stability and reliability. The overall working weight of the machine is 26,900kg (standard walking device) or 28,600kg (extended walking device). The bucket capacity is 1.1-1.6m³, the maximum digging force of the bucket is 166kN, and the maximum digging depth is 6,620mm. The machine has sufficient self-weight, a heavy chassis, and operates very smoothly when going up and down slopes, with a low risk of tail warping. Its rotation speed is also very fast.
4. Multi-functionality and convenient maintenance
The CAT325D is equipped with an auxiliary hydraulic system installed by the original factory, including a unidirectional, high-pressure, and high-flow circuit for the hydraulic hammer and the vibrating plate compactor. The machine is equipped with a heavy-duty boom and two types of buckets for operation selection, making it suitable for trenching, large-scale excavation, hammering and general construction operations. The oil filter and fuel filter are centrally arranged for easy daily maintenance. The fuel pre-filter is equipped with an oil-water separator inside, which can effectively prevent water from entering the engine.
