The Kubota KX175 excavator is equipped with the Kubota V3800 series engine, with a rated power of approximately 105-110 kW. It adopts high-pressure common rail fuel injection technology, providing ample power reserves and responding promptly under heavy-load conditions. The engine and hydraulic system are optimally matched, resulting in high fuel efficiency.
1.Fuel Economy
With the intelligent hydraulic system and power optimization management technology, the fuel consumption is reduced by approximately 8-10% compared to the previous model. Under standard operating conditions, the overall fuel consumption performance is excellent. Some users have reported that the hourly fuel consumption is 2-4 liters lower than that of competing products in the same category. Long-term use results in significant savings in fuel costs. The ECO mode can automatically adjust the power output according to the working conditions.
2. Excavation Force Performance
The bucket excavation force is approximately 110-115 kN, and the bucket arm excavation force is about 75-80 kN. This level of excavation force is considered medium to upper-level in 17-ton class excavators. The standard bucket size is 0.7-0.9 cubic meters, which provides a moderate excavation volume and a balanced performance in terms of operational efficiency.
3. Hydraulic System
It adopts a load-sensing hydraulic system, which ensures good coordination of compound actions and high precision of micro-operation. The rotation speed is approximately 10-12 rpm. The walking speed can be adjusted in three gears, and the operation cycle time is reasonable. Some users have reported that the actions are fast and the force is sufficient. Compared with the previous generation, the speed on flat ground and the efficiency of excavation operations have improved by more than 10% in this model.
4. Multi-functional Adaptability
Standardly equipped with auxiliary hydraulic pipelines, it enables quick switching between hydraulic hammers, hydraulic shears, spiral drills and other auxiliary machinery, achieving multi-purpose use of the machine. The return on investment is relatively high. Some versions can be optionally equipped with extended arms and mining enhanced configurations to meet different working conditions.
