The CAT323D2L excavator is a 23-ton medium-sized excavator from Caterpillar, with a working weight of approximately 23.3 tons, a rated power of 118kW, a bucket capacity of 1.19 to 1.34 cubic meters, and a maximum digging depth of 6.72 meters.
1. Excellent fuel economy
It adopts the Cat C7.1 ACERT engine and is equipped with a high-pressure common rail fuel injection system. It is not sensitive to low-quality fuel and the fuel consumption is reduced by 11% compared with the previous generation of products. The fuel-saving mode can save up to 15% more fuel consumption. The engine speed automatic control function automatically reduces the speed when there is no load or light load, minimizing fuel consumption to the greatest extent.
2. Strong performance
The hydraulic system adopts a dual-pump design. The maximum flow rate of the main pump is 429L/min, the digging force of the boom is 140kN, and the digging force of the bucket rod is 107kN. The electronic boom and bucket rod regeneration circuit can reduce pressure loss, shorten cycle time and increase productivity. Equipped with a 5.7-meter heavy-duty extension boom, it adopts a large box-shaped cross-section design, made of high tensile strength steel, and is internally fitted with partitions and additional bottom protection plates, making it sturdy and durable.
3. Excellent durability
The X-shaped box-shaped cross-section vehicle body has excellent anti-twisting ability. The track support wheel frame welded by mechanical hand adopts pentagonal components formed by pressing, which are of high strength and long service life. The heavy-duty idler wheels, idler wheels and guide wheels adopt sealed lubrication design, which ensures a long service life. The chassis system adopts a wide and sturdy extended design to achieve the best stability and lifting capacity.
4. Comfortable control experience
The cab adopts a pressurized design with forced filtration and ventilation, allowing for the selection of fresh air or recirculated air. All the glass is directly fixed to the cab without window frames, providing a wide field of vision. It is equipped with an air-suspended seat that can be adjusted for reclining, sliding up and down, as well as height and tilt. The pilot control handle control device is easy to operate and well-designed, allowing the operator to maintain a natural wrist and arm posture.
5. Convenient maintenance and care
Most maintenance points are close to the ground, making operation convenient. Reducing the number of fuel filters and extending their maintenance cycles can help lower operating costs. The filters are centrally distributed, making replacement and maintenance convenient and reducing maintenance time. Equipped with regular oil sample analysis (S.O.S) sampling ports for hydraulic systems, engine oil and coolant, the standard hydraulic test port enables maintenance technicians to easily and quickly identify faults.
6. Versatility
A variety of operation tools can be selected, including buckets, rollers, grabs, multi-purpose processing machines, soil breakers, stone crushers, shredders, hydraulic hammers and hydraulic shears. The connector can complete the tooling switch within a few seconds, allowing for efficient changing without leaving the cab.
